"Beautiful home right on the water! The house and property are perfectly set up for a family getaway. The beautiful view from the back porch is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the kids play in the yard. The lake is not crowded, as many boaters and fishermen head for the largest of the connected lakes. The house is clean and very well maintained. Will definitely be back!"

"Wonderful lake house! Perfect for a family vacation! Nestled in-between two lakes JB’s lake house is the perfect spot for a getaway. The house itself is beautifully kept, sparkling clean, and has an open floor plan on the first floor to accommodate all of your family activities. The views from the porch are outstanding! We even saw a couple eagles flying around the lake! Enjoy the gigantic backyard or hang out by the lake and take in the true beauty of Michigan. Highly, highly recommended. I can’t say enough great things about this spot!"

Our renovated all-season lake house is located in Marcellus Michigan which is well known for its great fishing and recreation, and Saddlebag Lake is no exception. The house has been tastefully designed to capture that country cottage feel with the added benefit of all new furnishings, furniture, and appliances.
The house features four bedrooms and two full bathrooms on peaceful Saddlebag Lake. East Saddlebag Lake connects to 3 other lakes (Fish, Finch and West Saddlebag Lakes). The four all-sports lakes connect to provide over 600 acres of fishing and boating activity. This lake system is an absolute hidden jewel with extremely low boat traffic and undeveloped shorelines.
The kitchen features warm hickory cabinets and stainless steel appliances. All of the basic necessities are included: stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven and all the cookware, dishes & utensils.
The light-filled dining room provides a large table, rustic buffet and seating for 8. The vineyard and wine barrel themed dining room is the perfect spot to enjoy your family meals, build a puzzle or play a board game with the kids. With eight windows, the dining room has terrific views of the lake.
The living room is anchored by a beautiful stack stone fireplace and unobstructed views of the lake. Your family can enjoy a movie night or a game on the 48” TV and surround sound system. The living room has a rustic feel with a nail-head sofa and love seat and a full-size futon for relaxing. The living room is equipped with DirecTV and a Blu-ray player.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed and a ceiling fan.
The “Yellow Bedroom” has a decorative white iron bed, incredible lakeside views, and a 32” TV and DVD player.
The “Quiet Brown Bedroom” has an upholstered headboard and a 32" TV and a DVD player.
The first-floor full bath has a granite-topped vanity, a deep tub and tile surround.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor each with beautiful views of the lake from the dormered window seats.
The larger “Master” bedroom has a king-sized bed, ceiling fan, 42” TV and DVD player.
The “Kids” bedroom has a ceiling fan, two full sized beds with rustic pine headboards, bear themed lights and a playful hunting and fishing decor. There is also a 32” TV perfect for video games or watching a movie.
The second-floor full bath has a granite topped vanity, tub, and shower.

• Professional cleaning is included in our rates
• We require a $500 refundable security deposit.
• No hidden VRBO or Airbnb charges.
• We do not rent our boat but can provide the local marinas that do.
• Unfortunately, we do not accept pets.
